I have produced & directed this video for BMI Regional. The brief was to create a ‘Top Gear’ like challenge where plane takes on train in a race to Paris leaving from Central Bristol.
I worked with the BMI Head of Marketing and the press team from Bristol Airport to arrange what turned out to be a very long day’s shooting.
Two crews simultaneously left Bristol – one from Bristol Airport and one from Bristol Temple Meads. As the job was actually to follow the real journeys, it was a pretty stressful day .
I’m glad to say the schedule worked out and the plane won! With me filming it.
